Community Partners
We love collaborating with courageous & compassionate people already doing important work in our community. Besides the community partners listed below, we have also collaborated with or supported the good work of the New American Welcome Center (DuPont YMCA), 904Ward, Church Without Walls, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Yellow House, Hubbard House and RAWTools.
Andrew Robinson Elementary School
We have been partnering with our neighborhood school, Andrew Robinson Elementary, since we began. We share school supplies, serve on the school advisory council, help prepare the school for back to school, respond to emergency needs as we are able and participate in the reading tutoring program.
Sanctuary on 8th Street
The Sanctuary on 8th Street is an after-school and summer camp enrichment program located in the heart of Springfield. Their mission is to encourage and empower Jacksonville youth and families in need by ministering to their spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual needs. We have partnered to support special events for families, hosted clean up & are always listening for ways to support their good work in our community.
