We are a community of faith practicing the way of Jesus together. We experiment, adapt and change as needed. Groups are shaped by the passions and presence, as well as the ebb and flow of people in and out of our community. We nurture connection with our neighborhood school through tutoring, preparing for back to school, and volunteering in other ways that support families and school leadership. Contact Susan for more information.
Church in the Wild
Nature has so much to teach us about how to be present, live with less anxiety & worry & trust in enough for each day. On most 4th Sundays, we gather outdoors to connect with God, another & the earth. We gather in a variety of outdoor spaces including parks, farms and beaches depending on the season. Part of our time is typically spent listening for and sharing our “sermons from the wild”. Check our upcoming events for info about our next Church in the Wild. If you are interested in being part of our “Wild Folk” (church in the wild planning group), they typically meet for lunch on the Friday following that month’s church in the wild. Clearness Circle
A clearness circle is a group of friends who gather to make intentional space for generous listening, open-ended questions and deep presence with an individual who is seeking clarity about an issue or decision related to her or his personal life or work (or both). Neighborhood Commons
People from The Well are working alongside neighbors interested in forming a safe and welcoming space in our community that inspires connection, conversation and collaboration. You can find more info here.
Racial Justice Learning & Action Group
Our racial justice learning & action group has been meeting monthly for conversation, learning & mutual support in our efforts to confront racism in & around us. Sometimes we move through a book, other times we just gather to share our stories, questions, intentions & opportunities for action. We gather about every other month to discuss books that encourage us to connect, learn, grow, grapple with important questions and better engage in social justice.
